going green

dress:  jones new york, $1, yard sale
camisole:  forever 21, $2.50
sandals:  rack room shoes, $15

i'm not a huge fan of layering camisoles under v-necks, but sometimes its necessary with extremely low cuts & these days, even if i'm comfortable with the cut, i find i have to wear a camisole to hide my nursing bras, which seem to come up much higher than my normal bras.

sleeping in style

baby boy's sleeper:  pepper toes*, $4, consignment store

*i fell in love with this adorable boutique pepper toes sleeper.  soft as could be & buttoned up the back.  i looked high and low for others online, but it wasn't to be.  if you ever see one, by all means, grab it!

park safari

baby boy's hat:  $0.25, yardsale
baby boy's onesie:  little sprouts*, $1.98, target

*i love little sprouts, an organic cotton line carried by target.  i haven't seen anything by them at target lately, but i'm keeping my eyes open.  i picked up this onesie & matching pants for holden in several different colors and sizes when they were on clearance last year.  i loved the bright colors, the extra coverage the onesies had in the bottom area, they washed up great AND they were organic cotton!

mickey's biggest fan

baby boy's mickey romper:  $1, yardsale

frugal family fashion

my dress:  motherhood maternity*, $1, yard sale
hubby's shirt:  nautica, hand me down
baby boy's romper:  ralph lauren, $3, yard sale
baby boy's tennis shoes (brand new!):  $1, yard sale

*my personal opinion regarding maternity clothes... i know a lot of moms who can't stand the sight of maternity clothes once baby arrives, but i've always been of the mindset flaunt it if you've got it & if you don't?  for heavens sake, cover it up!  so with that in mind, i have a couple of maternity pieces that i still wear because: 1) you can't tell they're maternity, 2) these particular pieces just so happen to be flattering as can be! & 3) for the time being, there's still a lot that needs to be covered up!  ;)

best $1.50 ever spent

i picked up this dress at a yardsale for $1.50 & i'm seriously obsessed with it.  it's all i can do not to wear it every day!  frugal, fun & forgiving... now that's my kind of dress!

dress:  $1.50, yardsale
