baby boy's jon jon:  samara, consignment sale, $2
baby boy's sandals:  faded glory, consignment sale, $1

cute little jon jons

CONFESSION:  i sometimes buy baby clothes for babies that only currently exist in my heart - when they're just TOO CUTE to pass up!  case in point below.  but in my defense, as any die-hard jon jon lover will tell you, when you find unique jon jons (especially vintage... the cutest of the cute!), you've got to snatch those bad boys up!  ...especially at these prices.  just ask holden... being an impeccably dressed little guy doesn't happen shopping the racks at belk.  or carter's.  not even necessarily at boutiques.  & it definitely doesn't happen shopping at target!  it takes lots of hunting & searching, in lots of different places!  some days finding absolutely nothing & some days hitting the jack pot.  but mostly, it requires having an eye for the future.  so i'm lovingly tucking these little cuties away for our next little angel... which we're convinced will be another little boy!

jon jons:  $0.75 each, consignment sale

daddy & me

baby boy's t-shirt:  $1.12, target**
baby boy's shorts:  $1, yard sale
hub's t-shirt:  $5, old navy**
hub's shorts:  nike, $0.34***, yard sale (& his very favorite shorts now!)

i'm loving baby boy's mis-matched / color coordinated outfit here!

** there are some things that i prefer to buy new - t-shirts usually fall into that category.  as a general rule, i just don't think they wash up well enough to buy second-hand.  that's not to say that you won't occasionally come across a second-hand one that is in like new condition!  but i try to keep my eyes open for clearance t-shirts for holden & stock up on jason's when old navy puts them on sale for $5 each.
*** weird price i know... but the items were 3/$1!
