yard sale decorating: nursery edition

our son's nursery is proof positive that with a lot of love & a little searching, you don't have to spend a lot of money to create a unique space you love.  the key was patience - we didn't run out & buy anything, we collected key pieces over the course of my pregnancy.  and as we did, the room came together as the perfect space for our son.


chalk board:  mommy's as a little girl, repainted with a new chalk surface & trim
dresser:  $20, yard sale, repainted & lined
blanket:  baby shower gift from missy (hand-made with love, just for you!)

side table:  hand-me-down from mom-mom & pop-pop's house

mobile:  hand-me-down from your cousins
rocking horse:  hand-me-down from your cousins
bubble gum machine:  yard sale over 20 years ago!


baby outfits on display:  $1 each, yard sale

bookshelf:  hand-me-down from grammy & grampa, repainted
